Welcome to SAMAQAN's Second Screen.

The word SAMAQAN means WATER,  and is a word spoken among the  Maliseet First Nations and is an indigenous language with roots in Eastern Canada. This TV documentary series has been produced in both the English and Maliseet language, a cultural obligation of the producers. The series is produced by indigenous people as a form of sharing our stories and views about water.
